FLOS Batch Controller BC410 Communication Driver

 

FLOS Batch Controller BC410 Communication Driver is the driver to communicate with BC410 flow controller of FLOS.(or FnS Plus Co.)

 

1. Read settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of FLOS Batch Controller BC410 communication driver.

Device part of  <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively.

When Batch controller model is FC110, input 'FC110'(blank or other string = BC410 model) at option part.

 

 FLOS Batch Controller BC410 communication driver¡¯s read schedule

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:

1) STATION – 0 ~ 99 station number.

2) Read command – Command = TOTAL, ACCTOT, FLOW, DATE, TIME, PRESET, STATUS. (Refer to <Table 1> )

3) Read start address –Don't care.

4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.

5) Read Size – Size = Fix to 1.

6 : Flow Alarm Detected

7 : Interlock Alarm Detected

8 : Reserved

FLOS Batch Controller BC410 communication driver store the same data in WORD, DWORD, FLOAT memory, but the data format are different.

If you click the icon 2 in protocol option part, you can see the dialogue box such as <Figure 2>. you can also set read schedule by using this part.

You can set read schedule by using 3, 4, 5 button and listbox of <Figure 2>.

When you click Add button or Edit button in dialogue box of <Figure 2>, dialogue box of <Figure 3> is shown.

 

 

2. Writing settings

You can change the setting values of FLOS Batch Controller BC410 by using write commands.

 

Bit Write

Bit write and word write have the same setting parameters except output value(0 or 1).

 

 

Word Write

Word write setting parameters are as follows:

1)  PORT                   Port no. (0 ~ 255)

2)  STATION             0 ~ 99 station number.

3)  ADDRESS           Don't care.

4)  Extra1                  Write command = ACCTOT, DATE, TIME, PRESET, STATUS. ( Refer to <Table 2> )

5)  Extra2                  PRESET write command : 0 ~ 3 decimal point position, 0 = don't use decimal point, 1 ~ 3 = 1 ~ 3 decimal point,

                                   other command  : Don't care.

The setting parameter shown above is an example of word write for Acc-Total reset of FLOS Batch Controller BC410 equipment connected with 0 port, set to 1 station.

 

Write example 2)

PORT : 0   STATION : 1   ADDRESS : 0000  EXTRA1 : PRESET  EXTRA2 : 0

The setting parameter shown above is an example of word write for Batch Preset Quantity(decimal point = don't use) of FLOS Batch Controller BC410 equipment connected with 0 port, set to 1 station.

 

Note) You have to set same decimal point position  write command and equipment's setting.

 

 

3. Connection of communication cable and main power line

  Connection of main power line and communication cable are as follows.

 

Connection of communication cable

Please connect T-, T+, R-, R+(14 ~ 17 connector) of BC410 equipment and T-, T+, R-, R+ of computer's RS-485 connector.

Connection of main power line

You have to connect main power input AC 85 ~ 264V to 1, 2 main power connector such as <figure 4>.
